about your facilitators
Dr. Dhru Beeharilal
JD, CSPO, PCC
Dr. Dhru Beeharilal is the intersection of many things: International Coach Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Mindset and Growth Coach, adjunct professor at Georgetown University, entrepreneur, dog dad, huge nerd, explorer, author, speaker, recovering attorney, and creator. He is also the founder of Nayan Leadership, focusing on leadership development, business coaching, and DEI and culture consulting, as well as HachiMedia, a social media, digital marketing, and photography agency. He pioneered the Aperture Model of coaching in 2023, a model designed to create alignment and harmony in clients as they transition between leadership and development stages and grow into their authentic selves.
Dhru firmly believes in the ancient Japanese principles of Ikigai and Bushido, aspiring to live a well-rounded and fulfilling life while serving the ideals and values that he loves and holds dear. As a result, he takes a different approach to coaching and business than most. He helps his clients identify their limiting stories and tell a different story where they are the hero. In this story, he accompanies his clients on their hero’s journey, helping them observe, learn, grow, and iterate intentionally and authentically along the way. Along the way, he will support, challenge, and empower them to be the best leaders, the best business owners, and the best people they can be.
One of Dhru’s core principles is creativity, and in that pursuit, he found photography as a creative outlet in 2017. Since then he has enjoyed both his own growth as well as facilitating events to contribute to the growth of others. He also uses it as a tool in his coaching practice when working with clients to help them lean into their creativity to look at things from different angles and see a different perspective.
When he’s not creating with clients, Dhru enjoys exploring the boundless, terrifying freedom the world has to offer with his K-9 companion, Hachi.
Dr. Anand Deonarine
md
Dr. Anand Deonarine, MD, is a physician, mentor, teacher, and photographer. Since 2006, he has explored various photography genres including travel, portraits, and fashion. His passion for capturing moments through the lens has taken him on a remarkable journey, from the bustling streets of New York to the deserts of Nevada to the vibrant metropolis of Tokyo.
Dubbed in the photography community as “the Doctor of Light,” Anand has a passion for community building and mentoring newer photographers. Anand’s deep appreciation for art and culture is evident in his work and the events he hosts. He believes in the power of storytelling through photography that transcends language, religion, and beliefs. He relishes in creating art and making new connections around the world, inspiring the next generation to find and embrace their vision.
