Most training is a room full of managers listening to someone talk. Ours puts them in the conversation they have been avoiding, out loud, in groups of three or four, with a coach in the room. That's the part that changes what they do on Monday.
Your managers already know they should give harder feedback. Knowing it and being able to do it while the person is sitting in front of you're different things.
Here's how the room actually works. Managers break into small groups. One person runs the conversation they've been avoiding. Another plays the person on the other side of it. The rest watch closely, because watching someone else do it badly teaches you something too. Then they swap, so everybody takes a turn. Our facilitators work the room while that's happening, sitting in on each group in turn and pulling everyone back together when something comes up that the whole room needs to hear.
We run classes up to about thirty. Past that it stops being practice and starts being a lecture, so we'd rather split it into two.
The scenarios are theirs. Your managers bring the conversation they're dreading, in your business, and practice that one.
Five days, built for your organization, for a group of 12 to 20. Two ways to run it, and the right one depends on how your people can actually be away from their work.
Minimum 12 people. A cohort of 20 is $90,000. One block of time, one approval, one absence to plan around. Five days together also go somewhere a single day cannot: by Wednesday people stop performing for each other and start saying what is actually happening.
Minimum 12 people. A cohort of 20 is $80,000. Your people go back and try it between days, and bring what happened to the next one. Momentum builds across the months instead of inside one week.
Up to 20 people. One topic, done properly.
Up to 20 people. Enough time to practice, not just to cover material.
Three or more days booked together are quoted as a program.
Dr. Dhru Beeharilal is faculty at Georgetown University's Institute for Transformational Leadership and an ICF PCC Assessor, one of the people the profession trusts to judge whether a coach meets the standard. He designs the program and selects the facilitators who deliver it.
He has coached leaders at Microsoft, Amazon, PayPal, Marriott, and Plaid, and across federal agencies. Amazon and Marriott engaged him directly.
Custom curriculum is quoted separately. We'll tell you when you don't need it.
Time on practice. We build the day around it and use the teaching to set it up, in groups of three or four. Nobody sits at the back for five days.
Consecutive is easier to approve. Spread teaches better, since your people go and try it between days. If they can be released for a week, take the week. You pick the dates either way, and tell us which weeks are impossible before we build the calendar.
Yes, with more facilitators. The practice groups stay small whatever the headcount. Tell us the number and we'll price it.
Our public sector rates are different, and lower than the figures above. Ask us for the rate schedule and our capability statement.
No. Travel is quoted separately on every program we run. The one thing we do cover is ground travel during the program itself, to and from anything on the agenda.
Half up front, and the rest after the midpoint of the program. We invoice against your purchase order. Late fees are 1.5% a month, capped at 8% a year, and nothing starts until fifteen days after the invoice date.
One, or two for a bigger class. They work the room during practice rather than sitting with a single group the whole time. If you want a coach parked with every group for the full session, that's our retreat format, not this one.
You have fourteen days to cancel. Where we've booked a venue or anything else on your behalf, that window closes when we book, and we'll tell you the date first. After that you'd cover whatever those vendors won't refund and anything they charge us to cancel. We chase the refunds, pass back what we recover, and keep 10% of that.
Send someone else. Seats are yours to fill right up to the first morning.
Facilitators from our coaching team, holding International Coaching Federation credentials, several at the PCC level, and several trained at Georgetown University's Institute for Transformational Leadership. Ask on the call and we'll tell you who is assigned to your cohort before you sign.
No cost, no obligation. If a program isn't what you need, we'll say so and tell you what we think you need instead.
