1:1 Executive Coaching

What Is Executive Coaching?

For the leader who has done the external work — the promotions, the credentials, the performance reviews — and knows the real growth is internal. This is private, one-on-one work with Dr. Dhru, using the Ikigai Aperture framework to go below behavior and into the lens itself.

Sessions are typically bi-weekly, 60 minutes each, over a 6-month engagement. We begin with a deep intake process to understand how you see yourself, your team, and your role. From there, each session is structured around real situations you're navigating — not hypothetical exercises. We work with your shadow, your relational patterns, and the stories you've been performing without realizing it.

Outcomes: leadership clarity, stronger self-awareness, improved team dynamics, alignment between who you are and how you lead, and the kind of grounded confidence that doesn't need the room to validate it.

Owner + Chief of Staff

For the business owner who needs more than a coach — they need a thinking partner embedded in their operation. This isn't about sitting in a room talking about leadership theory. It's about working alongside you and your leadership team, bringing the Aperture lens into the way your entire organization sees itself.

We work on a retainer basis, typically meeting weekly with you and bi-weekly with key members of your leadership layer. The work includes vision alignment, culture diagnostics, executive team dynamics, and the operational lens-cleaning that happens when you stop managing symptoms and start examining the filters through which your whole company makes decisions.

Tanren Retreat

Three days. No comfort zone. A small group of high-achieving men willing to go somewhere most never go — inward. Not a wellness weekend. Not a motivational seminar. An immersive experience designed to break through the performance layer most leaders spend their entire careers reinforcing.

How long does an executive coaching engagement last?

Most executive coaching engagements at Nayan Leadership last six months, though some extend to nine or twelve months depending on the scope of the work. Six months provides enough time to move past surface-level changes and into lasting behavioral shifts and leadership growth.

In-person sessions are available for clients in the Washington DC metro area. Virtual coaching delivers the same depth and results as in-person work.
